Cybersecurity is the defining issue of our lifetime. As a tool for waging war, disrupting trade, stealing property, conducting espionage, and compromising elections, cybersecurity is the defining policy issue of the 21st century.

Eliminating Policy Zero-Days
There is no phrase as feared as a “zero-day” in cybersecurity. Yet, despite their reputation, the threat from these exploits is overblown. There are however zero-days in our laws and policies, that create serious vulnerabilities in information systems. These policy zero-days hurt everyone.

Standard Reporting & Metrics
There’s been a culture that’s built up around cybersecurity of not collecting and sharing incident information. Standardized reporting that is made accessible to experts will allow anyone to look for patterns that help them understand how and why cybersecurity incidents occur. We are getting plenty of information about how the human genome works, yet we don’t have consistent timely data on cybersecurity incidents.

Cyber 311
No one is immune to cyber attacks. We're developing the first national platform that allows everyone to ask any questions about cybersecurity. Anything from safe practices online to what a phishing attack is. By providing a robust and dynamic hub of information, we can better equip the next generation.
